This is the website for Joe Urban, Joe Urban, Inc., and me, Sam Newberg.

I am an urbanist. You could say Joe Urban is my alter-ego (or my ego!). Through this website and my work, I seek to help others better understand cities. I do that through the entries on this website, by writing articles for various publications, writing case studies about development projects or cities, performing market research for public and private sector clients, and by teaching and making presentations on a variety of urban topics.
